Robert M. Ben is a former social worker turned trial lawyer. As a partner at Thomson Rogers, which was named Law Firm of the Year for Personal Injury Litigation by Best Lawyers in 2024, 2022 and 2021, Robert dedicates his practice to helping victims of serious personal injury and wrongful death get justice. He was part of the team in Baker v. Blue Cross who secured the largest jury award for punitive damages in Canada ($1.5 million) against a disability insurance company. He also maintains an active practice in plaintiff-side class actions concerning health care negligence, product liability, insurance coverage, and consumer rights.
