Neinstein Personal Injury Lawyers

Neinstein Personal Injury Lawyers is a boutique law firm in Toronto. Our mission is to transform the lives of catastrophically injured people across Canada.

We focus on catastrophic motor vehicle accidents, complex medical negligence, and mass torts. We are focused on building strong relationships, delivering life-changing results, supporting our clients on their road to recovery. We are proud to be a solutions-focused firm.

Neinstein was founded by senior partner Gary Neinstein, K.C., an accomplished trial lawyer with more than 50 years of civil litigation experience including over 300 trials. Today, many members of our experienced legal team are Lexpert-ranked, distinguished amongst the Best Lawyers, AV-rated through Martindale-Hubbell, and hold specialist designations in Civil Litigation.

We are expert litigators with significant trial and appellate advocacy experience. Our medical malpractice team is led by celebrated trial lawyer Duncan Embury, who is often retained by other counsel from across the country to take on their most complex cases:

“When you litigate against physicians, you come face to face with literally the best financed legal defence teams in the nation. Duncan is incapable of being intimidated by any of that. Impeccably prepared, relentless in his cross examinations, Duncan and his team delivered the spirited fight which I had asked of them at the outset. I cannot recommend Duncan highly enough.”

Neinstein Personal Injury Lawyers has been recognized by Canadian Lawyer as one of the Top 10 Personal Injury Boutique Firms in 2013, 2014, 2021, 2022, 2023 and is honoured to be listed in this coveted category again in 2024.
