For nearly 20 years, Aaron has practised real property law, focusing on land use planning and development issues. As a transactional solicitor early in his career, he developed broad skills augmented by engaging with land use issues. Early on, he was seconded to the City of Toronto’s Planning & Administrative Tribunal Law Department, working closely with various internal departments. Later, he practised at a land use planning and real estate development boutique firm before joining Loopstra Nixon LLP. Aaron's legal expertise uniquely provides solutions for clients, especially at the intersection of real property and land use law. Working with real estate counsel, urban planners, architects, and engineers, Aaron offers strategic legal advice to residential and commercial developers, operators, school boards, and title insurers. Outside his legal practice, Aaron continues to serve on the Executive of the OBA’s Municipal Section and Real Estate Section.
