Alex O'Reilly is a partner in Gowling WLG's Montreal office. He practises primarily in Indigenous law, notably for regional and local Indigenous governments as well as Indigenous development corporations. Alex is called upon to advise his clients on a vast array of legal and strategic matters related to Indigenous nation-building and economic development, including issues pertaining to corporate and commercial law, mining, forestry, governance, constitutional law, treaty implementation, construction law and employment and labour law. Alex has also unique experience in advising clients regarding compliance with the regulatory environment in Quebec construction law, notably with respect to the regulations of the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ) and the Autorité des marchés publics (AMP).
