Alexandru Farcas

Alex Farcas is a partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate groups and a member of the Dentons Canada Region Board. Alex has extensive experience with complex cross-border public and private M&A transactions, including arrangements, take-over bids, share and asset acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructurings. He regularly advises on corporate governance and securities laws matters, with a focus on related party and other conflict of interest transactions, as well as various special committee mandates. Additionally, he frequently advises on a wide range of corporate finance transactions, including public and private equity financings, domestic and cross-border going public transactions and listing applications on the various Canadian stock exchanges. Over the course of his career, he has represented clients across a wide range of industries, including technology, life sciences and biotech, cannabis, pharma, natural resources, retail and consumer products, and financial services. In his position as Ontario representative of the Dentons Canada Region Board, Alex plays an important role in stewarding the strategic direction of the Firm and helping to bring Dentons’ global strategy to life.
