Counsel. Practice focuses on land development, administrative, and municipal law. Involved in legal issues related to all types of land development, including large urban development, development of raw land, and intensification. Noted leader in development matters in the Toronto area and was part of the team that drew up the plans for creating the Toronto “mega-city” in 1998. Participant in many development projects in the Greater Toronto Area and throughout the Province of Ontario, acting for both land owners and governments in a variety of complex development approval processes. Twice represented Canada as an Olympic sailor and is now a member of the Canadian Olympic Association. Also serves as a member of the International Sailing Federation Review Board. Commerce and finance degree from University of Toronto (1967) and law degree from University of Toronto (1970). Admitted to the Ontario Bar (1972).
