Amanda Stacey is a partner in the firm's private client and social impact teams. She provides advice in the areas of wealth management, estates, trusts, and charity and not-for-profit law. She advises clients with respect to wills, trusts, powers of attorney, charitable giving, family business succession planning, corporate re-organizations, and estate administration, as well as the establishment, tax compliance and governance, and regulation of charities and non-profit organizations. She also assists financial institutions with the administration of estate assets and registered plans, as well as capacity and power of attorney matters. Stacey was previously chairwoman of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners. She is a frequent writer and speaker on a variety of estate planning and charity and not-for-profit topics, including articles and presentations for the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Ontario Bar Association, the Law Society of Ontario, and the Estates, Trusts and Pensions Journal. Stacey practises in both Ontario and BC.
