André Dufour practices business law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. He advises businesses from various industries about their commercial activities and transactions of all kinds. He has acted for Canadian and international companies in complex mergers and acquisitions. He has also represented companies in a broad range of transactions, including: corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, financing (especially venture capital and private equity transactions), and drafting and negotiation of various types of commercial contracts. He is also actively involved in many cultural and community organizations. Dufour is past chair of the M&A Law Committee of the International Bar Association, a member of Canadian Bar Association, and sits on various boards of directors, including the Foundation of the Montréal Museum of Fine Arts, Mission Inclusion (Chair of the Board), and Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont Foundation (Secretary of the Board).
