Ms. Huggins, Ontario Bar (1991), is a partner with Koskie Minsky and heads the firm's Employment Law Group. She has expertise in employment law, human rights, workplace harassment and discrimination, workplace investigations, equity audits and climate reviews within all types of organizations, with particular expertise in anti-racism and anti-Black racism. Ms. Huggins is a sought-after speaker for the CBA, the OBA, the Law Society of Ontario, the Advocates' Society, Osgoode Hall Professional Development and others. She was on the founding Board of the African Canadian Legal Clinic and formerly served on the Doctors Without Borders Human Resources Committee and the federal Judicial Appointments Advisory Committee for the GTA. She currently sits on the Board of Women's College Hospital. She has been awarded a Lexpert Zenith Award, the Women’s Law Association of Ontario President’s Award in 2018 and in 2020, the prestigious Law Society Medal. In 2021, she was elected by Canadian Lawyer Magazine as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers in the Human Rights, Advocacy and Criminal Law category. She has also been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada (Labour and Employment) since 2022 and has been Lexpert ranked in 2023 and 2024.
