Also advises issuers and underwriters in connection with public offerings, including IPOs and bought deal financings. Recent transactional experience includes representing: Playmaker Capital Inc. in connection with numerous acquisitions, and its sale to Better Collective A/S; Brookfield Asset Management in connection with equity investments in Neighbourly Pharmacy Inc., Chorus Aviation Inc., and Superior Plus Corp.; PureFacts Financial Solutions in connection with a majority investment from GrowthCurve Capital; and Cineplex Inc. on its sale of Player One Amusement Group to OpenGate Capital and in connection with several financings. Recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada for Securities Law. Currently sits on the advisory committee of the TSX Venture Exchange.
