Brett heads the commercial real estate group at Blaney McMurtry LLP. He has more than 30 years of experience in completing commercial real estate transactions. He has been widely recognized for his extensive expertise in commercial real estate, Brett numbers Canada’s top retailers, developers and lenders among his clients. He has led key negotiations on a number of large and complicated real estate transactions across Canada including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and commercial lending. From a lending standpoint he is involved in major portfolio loan purchases, participating loans amongst Canada’s largest lending institutions covering such properties as multi-million dollar office towers, residential portfolios, affordable housing projects, CMHC Loans, condominium developments, multi-residential apartment building developments and shopping centres.
