Brian Poston has been active in aviation and product liability for 20+ years. He is a recognized leader in risk assessment and management and has developed a global spanning legal career focused on relationships with brokers, underwriters, service providers and insureds. Brian is routinely retained by domestic and foreign underwriters to defend aviation and product liability claims and to pursue subrogated claims. Brian’s technical knowledge makes him apt to act on behalf of airlines, general aviation operators, airports, pilots, engine and parts manufacturers, repair and overhaul facilities. Brian is also called upon by underwriters to manage foreign litigation involving domestic insureds. Brian has litigated cases in many jurisdictions, has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia and understands transportation tribunal processes. The trust Brian has garnered has provided him with the opportunity to advise insurers on matters of significant legal and geopolitical importance. Brian was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 1999, the NWT Bar in 2021, is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and is the litigation reporting partner at Clark Wilson LLP.
