For more than 30 years, Caroline has developed a practice that is primarily focused on civil and commercial litigation. She has appeared before all levels of court in Canada, including the Supreme Court of Canada and the Federal Court, and several administrative tribunals and arbitration boards. Caroline regularly acts in major corporate and shareholder disputes and has significant litigation expertise regarding fraud and cybersecurity issues, directors' and officers’ liability, construction law, and insurance law. Her experience also includes defending class actions in the fields of contractual and extra-contractual liability, product liability, competition law, consumer law, privacy and personal data protection law. She also handles governance cases, including human resources issues and those involving internal investigations, and advises companies and their boards on risk management, ethics and corporate governance. Caroline serves as Chairman of the Board of the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, is a director of the Board of The Advocates’ Society and of the Board of the Foundation CHU Ste-Justine. She is also a member of the executive committee of the ICD’s Quebec chapter. She was awarded in 2023 the Quebec Bar’s honorary title of Advocatus Emeritus.
