Charles Bardou practises corporate and commercial law from Dentons’ Montreal office. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and on construction, infrastructure, and public-private partnerships. Charles represents clients in connection with share and asset purchase transactions, amalgamations and corporate reorganizations in a wide variety of industries, including retail, manufacturing, professional services, construction and education. He also regularly drafts, reviews and negotiates partnership and shareholders agreements, joint venture agreements, services agreement, construction contracts and other commercial agreements. Charles also advises clients on commercial leasing and licensing matters, drafting and reviewing commercial leases and applications for various licenses and permits from public authorities. As part of his infrastructure and public procurement practice, Charles advises public authorities and private-sector entities in connection with the procurement process and project implementation. On February 27, 2015, KPH Turcot was awarded the $1.54-billion contract to design and build the main infrastructures of the Turcot Interchange in Montréal by the ministère des Transports du Québec, with the assistance of Société québécoise des infrastructures (SQI). This is one of Québec’s largest infrastructure projects, which consists of the reconstruction of four major interchanges, including the Turcot Interchange.
