Charles Wagner practises with the Labour, Employment and Human Rights group. As part of his practice, he advises and represents clients in every area of labour and employment law – collective agreements or individual employment contracts – including human rights and labour standards. He strategically advises and represents employers on issues related to employee hiring and dismissal, disciplinary measures, labour standards, psychological harassment, non-competition and non-solicitation, and human rights. Charles specializes particularly in injunctions in matters of non-competition and non-solicitation, unfair competition, and the protection of confidential information. As part of his practice, Charles has appeared before almost every administrative court for labour and employment issues, as well as various civil tribunals. Charles has particularly distinguished himself on the issue of the legalization of cannabis in Canada and its impact on the workplace. In this regard, Charles was one of the representatives for the Barreau du Québec during the parliamentary commission on Bill No. 157 regarding the legalization of cannabis. Charles also serves as a presenter. He is regularly invited to conduct training on a variety of subjects.
