Christopher Van Barr is recognized as one of Canada's leading intellectual property litigators. He has considerable experience in complex pharmaceutical and high-tech patent litigation as well as in trademark, copyright, and trade secret litigation. Chris advises clients on strategic management of intellectual property including patent life cycle management. He acts on behalf of leading national and international pharmaceutical, medical devices, aerospace, software, manufacturing and information tech clients. Chris was an Adjunct Professor of Patent Law at the University of Ottawa and has been a Registered Patent Agent since 2000.
