Chris Horkins is a partner in the Litigation Group at Cassels, the Chair of the firm’s Product Liability Group, and a key member of the firm’s Franchise Law Group and Commercial Litigation and Arbitration team. His broad commercial litigation practice also includes securities litigation and class actions defence. Chris is a past co-chair of the Canadian Franchise Association’s Franchise Law Day and the Ontario Bar Association’s Annual Franchise Law Conference. He also sits on the steering committee of the Defence Research Institute’s Product Liability Committee and is a member of the International Association of Defence Counsel. Chris has been recognized for his expertise in Lexpert, Best Lawyers, Lexology Index, Franchise Times, and Benchmark Litigation Canada, which has repeatedly named him to its “40 and Under List” honouring the top litigators in Canada under 40.
