Chuck is a partner with MDW Law. Chuck’s practice is focused on plaintiff-side tort/accident claims, disputes involving long-term disability benefits, life insurance benefits, property insurance disputes, sexual assault/abuse claims, institutional abuse claims, mass tort, class action litigation, and professional negligence claims. He is a well-respected litigator who believes that the best way to obtain fair outcomes is to prepare as though every case is going to trial. He is rated by The Best Lawyers in Canada (Insurance since 2012, Personal Injury since 2014). He has been recognized by The Canadian Lexpert Directory as a leading practitioner in Personal Injury (Represents Plaintiffs) since 2015. Chuck was recognized as a New Litigation Star by Benchmark Canada (2015 Ed.). He taught Civil Trial Practice at Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law for four years (2006–2008; 2009–2011), as well as the second-year moot workshops from 2021 to 2023.
