Collin is a partner in the McKercher LLP Saskatoon office. His experience includes advice to/legal representation of provincial and national corporations, financial institutions, and professionals in the areas of construction, professional negligence and misconduct, insolvency, and constitutional law (primarily separate school rights). He advises on construction contracts, tendering, construction litigation/dispute resolution, security enforcement, and professional discipline/conduct matters. He has appeared before the SK Court of Appeal, the SK Court of King’s Bench, the Federal Court of Canada, the Tax Court of Canada, and various federal and provincial administrative and professional tribunals. He is a Charter Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America and was named a Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers in 2021. Collin has also published several papers and articles, particularly in the construction area, and has updated and co-authored the Second Edition of the Saskatchewan Builders’ Lien Manual. He has been recognized by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in Canada 2024 for Construction Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Insolvency & Financial Restructuring in Saskatoon. He was called to the Bar in 1998 and appointed KC in 2016.
