Collin is a partner in the McKercher LLP Saskatoon office. His experience includes advice to/legal representation of provincial and national corporations, financial institutions, and professionals in the areas of construction, commercial arbitration, professional negligence and misconduct, insolvency, and constitutional law (primarily separate school rights). He advises on construction contracts, tendering, construction litigation/dispute resolution, security enforcement, and professional discipline/conduct matters. He has appeared before the SK Court of Appeal, the SK Court of King’s Bench, the Federal Court of Canada, the Tax Court of Canada, and various federal and provincial administrative and professional tribunals, and sits as an arbitrator. He is a Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers and a Charter Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America. Collin has also published several papers and articles, particularly in the construction area, and has updated and co-authored the Third Edition of the Saskatchewan Builders’ Lien Manual. He was called to the bar in 1998 and appointed KC in 2016.
