Constantine Karbaliotis works in global privacy compliance and privacy management, with numerous privacy credentials (CIPP/C/US/E, CIPT, CIPM, CDPSE, and FIP). He is regularly speaking, teaching, and participating at international privacy events. Prior to joining nNovation LLP in 2020, he was a director at PwC Canada in its privacy practice, after having served as vice president for Nymity, a privacy office technology software company. Prior to that, he was chief privacy officer for Mercer; and before Mercer, he led the global privacy compliance program at Symantec. In both roles, he managed multinational compliance and the development and implementation of privacy programs, policies, and technology initiatives. He now advises clients in privacy program development, and contractual issues such as data transfer agreements addressing international privacy/security requirements. He also supports clients through the development of training and education, as well as policy response to developing laws in Canada. He teaches part-time through the School of Continuing Studies at the University of Toronto. He was also previously an executive consultant at CGI leading its privacy and security practice in Toronto.
