Daniel (Dan) Michaluk is a partner in BLG’s Toronto office and the National Co-Leader of the Cybersecurity Group. Dan specializes in cybersecurity, privacy and information management. He has represented clients in significant privacy, security and freedom of information litigation, including at the Ontario Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Canada. Dan is consistently recognized by a number of leading publications including Lexpert, Best Lawyers, Chambers Canada, and Who’s Who Legal, and has authored and contributed to privacy and e-discovery texts. Dan obtained a BComm and an LLB from the Queen's University. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2001.
