Daniel Scott is a partner in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office, practising in the Business Law Group. His practice focuses on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and debt and equity finance. While Daniel has considerable experience advising companies in a wide range of industries – everything from cannabis to shipping – over the past decade plus, the majority of his work has involved technology and knowledge-based companies. He also spent several years working overseas with a leading Bermudian firm where his practice was primarily comprised of international transactional work. Daniel has been called to the Bar in several jurisdictions including Ontario, Nova Scotia, New York and Bermuda.
