Danielle Maksimow is a partner in the capital markets group at Norton Rose Fulbright. She represents US and Canadian financial institutions, borrowers, and banks on a wide variety of financial matters with an emphasis on US private placements of debt to institutional investors and national and cross-border syndicated and bilateral debt financing transactions, including asset-based lending transactions, project finance, acquisition financings, distressed lending transactions, and complex intercreditor and priority issues. She also has experience advising financial institutions on debt restructurings and frequently acts as agent counsel to international law firms regarding Canadian banking matters. In 2019, she was recognized by Lexpert as one of its Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40 and was included in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory 2020 as a lawyer to watch in Corporate Commercial Law. Since 2020, she has been a member of the board of trustees of the American College of Investment Counsel.
