David Joanisse

One of the firm’s founding partners, David Joanisse focuses his practice on civil and commercial litigation, particularly in matters related to shareholder disputes, construction law, non-compliance with various contractual clauses, tendering processes, estates and condominium law. His clients include various entrepreneurs, contractors, manufacturing, retail, high-tech, real estate and utilities companies. David is also often called upon to address issues related to administrative law, disciplinary law and class actions. He has appeared before all levels of courts and has solid experience before appellate courts He has also led many applications for provisional remedies such as injunctions, safeguard orders, Anton Piller orders, and seizures before judgment. He has also conducted multiple independent disciplinary and/or harassment investigations. Finally, David is very involved in the cultural sector and has long been a director of several non-profit organizations.
