David R. Dunlop

David Dunlop is a senior corporate partner and multiple term member of McMillan's Executive Committee and Board of Partners. David primarily assists clients in the acquisition and sale of businesses, private equity transactions, corporate finance, corporate governance and outsourcing. He has extensive experience in negotiating cross-border and domestic transactions and complex commercial arrangements. David has experience across numerous industries including defense, aerospace, manufacturing, logistics, food, entertainment, technology, commercial/industrial real estate, healthcare and energy. He has volunteered his time and expertise on behalf of the Canadian Cancer Society, Medecins Sans Frontieres International, Junior Achievement of Canada and United Way of Peel. In addition to his LLB, David holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto and prior to attending Queen’s University Law School was employed as a sales representative by Xerox Canada and Hallmark Cards. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1989.
