David Sunday is a partner in Gowling WLG's Waterloo Region office where his practice focuses on municipal and land development issues. He is a Law Society of Ontario Certified Specialist (Municipal Law: Land Use Planning and Development) and a member of the firm's national Municipal Law Group, as well as the national Expropriation Law Group. David advises private and public sector clients in regard to land acquisitions and dispositions, land use controls, subdivision and condominium issues, title repairs, and expropriation matters. In the course of his practice, he regularly advocates for clients before various land use tribunals, including the Ontario Land Tribunal and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. David has been recognized in both The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and The Best Lawyers in Canada.
