David Howell practises business law. He provides legal services to owners and managers of private businesses. His clients include businesses in the manufacturing, services, health care and technology industries. David has extensive experience in planning and completing tax-planned corporate reorganizations and transactions, business succession plans, mergers and acquisitions, services for professional corporations and business agreements. David has practised law in Hamilton and Toronto since 1985. He has been active in both the legal profession and the Hamilton community throughout his career. David is a past president of the Hamilton Law Association and is a past Bencher (director) of the Law Society of Ontario and in that capacity was Vice-Chair of the Professional Regulation Committee, a member of the Finance and Proceedings Authorization Committees and a member of the Technology Working Group. He has been on the boards of the Royal Botanical Gardens and the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation. David is an excellent communicator and a problem solver. He has built his practice by providing thoughtful, timely and effective client service.
