Dean Chenoy focuses his practice on media and entertainment law, specifically film, television, virtual reality, publishing, and video gaming. He has extensive experience in production and project financing, content convergence, international and interprovincial co-productions, protection of intellectual property, and talent negotiation. He has acted as counsel to Hollywood studios, video game publishers and developers, Canadian broadcasters and distributors, new media providers, independent production companies, and Canadian, US- and UK-based lenders involved in the financing of film, new media, and television projects. He has been a lecturer with the Faculty of Law of McGill University. He is currently a board member of the Fantasia International Film Festival, as well as the Bureau du cinéma et de la télévision du Québec (BCTQ). He has been repeatedly listed in Who is Who Legal Canada Guide, The Best Lawyers in Canada, The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, and The Lexpert/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada.
