Edona is a Partner at BLG's Toronto office. She represents a broad spectrum of clients on regional, national, and international engagements. Her experience includes disputes and regulatory matters throughout Canada and coordinating with other jurisdictions globally. She is an advocate and trusted advisor to national and multinational manufacturers, distributors, retailers, suppliers, distributors, public authorities, and insurers, across a number of industries, including health care and life sciences, automotive, transport, construction and infrastructure. In addition to representing her clients’ interests as litigation counsel in disputes in singleton, class proceedings, and arbitration matters throughout Canada, Edona advises clients on regulatory product compliance matters in relation to consumer products, medical devices, pharmaceutical products, automotive, heavy machinery, as well as regulatory and compliance issues surrounding products embedding features of artificial intelligence and internet of things.
