Fahad Siddiqui acts in urgent and complex commercial and securities litigation. He is a member of the firm's market-leading special situations team and has served as lead counsel in trials, dispositive motions, arbitrations, and appeals. Clients rely on him to guide them through their most challenging issues. He has successfully brought and defended cases involving contested M&A transactions, shareholder claims, proxy contests, contract disputes, and regulatory challenges and has acted for some of North America's most significant companies and industry associations. He previously served as a law clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and the High Court of Delhi and practised with an international firm based in New York City. He maintains an activepro bonopractice. He has served on the boards of and represented public interest organizations, including the Innocence Network, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers, and the South Asian Legal Clinic of Ontario. He is fluent in French and conversant in Hindi, Urdu, and Arabic.
