François is a partner in BLG's Commercial Litigation Group in Montréal. He regularly pleads before the Superior Court and the Court of Appeal of Québec as a seasoned and versatile litigation lawyer. His main areas of practice are civil and commercial litigation (complex litigation matters), class actions, professional liability (civil and disciplinary), and defamation. François also has significant experience in constitutional and administrative law litigation and commissions of inquiry (Gomery, Oliphant, Chamberland), as well as in professional law, including judicial ethics. He was selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in Canada for Corporate and Commercial Litigation and Class Action Litigation. He has also been recognized by Chambers Canada for Litigation: General Commercial in Québec, and by Benchmark Canada as a "Local Litigation Star: Québec" and "Litigation Star: General Commercial, Professional Liability".
