Geoff White has built a successful 25+ year career as a lawyer specialized in Estate, Tax and Charity Law. He has directly and enthusiastically influenced the legal industry, local communities across British Columbia, and the lives of people with disabilities and their families. As a sought-after authority in his field, Geoff has led many industry initiatives, positioning him on the frontlines of legislative changes. He has established a deep knowledge of the rules and laws that apply to wills, estates, trusts, charities and related tax. He is the past Chair of the Law Foundation of BC, and is a co-editor of the Continuing Legal Education Society’s Probate and Estate Administration Practice Manual (which is a foundational source for estate law in BC). As counsel within Clark Wilson LLP’s Estates & Trusts group and as a Certified Trust and Estate Practitioner by the international Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Geoff advises clients through some of their most fundamental decisions, helping to carry out what is important at the end of their lives and bring them peace of mind. He ensures that people have autonomy while their values and loved ones are protected for the long-term. He was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 1997 (Ontario in 1994).
