George Karahotzitis is head of the family law group at Thomson Rogers LLP. He is an experienced litigator, practising in all aspects of matrimonial disputes, with an emphasis on complex financial issues and high conflict disputes. Highly regarded within the industry, George regularly appears in the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, and Ontario Court of Appeal. George has been ranked in The Best Lawyers in Canada in the field of family law and in Band 1 of Chambers High Net Worth Legal Guide, family/matrimonial, since 2020. He is a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers. In 2022, was honoured as the Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year" in the family law category for Toronto. Apart from managing a large caseload, overseeing fellow partners, associates, clerks, and assistants, he is also a contributor and speaker at continuing legal education seminars and has co-authored several books and articles.
