Glenn Grenier is a senior partner in McMillan’s construction law practice group and aviation practice group. As a leading practitioner on construction law and litigation, he regularly acts for project owners, contractors, subcontractors, engineers, designers as well as banks. His experience includes dealing with liens, extras, delay, acceleration, negligent design, tender disputes, priorities, construction insolvency as well as bond and trust claims. He also advises clients during construction and negotiates the resolution of disputes to avoid litigation, allowing the parties to finish their projects. He has successfully argued some of the leading cases on priorities, notice holdback, and security for costs. His published articles on concurrent delay and acceleration are considered leading dissertations on these subjects, with the former having been cited with approval by the courts.
