Hina, a partner at Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti LLP, practises in all areas of employment, labour and human rights law with a particular focus on litigation. Hina has acted on behalf of clients on matters involving all facets of management-side labour and employment law, including human rights, wrongful dismissals and grievance arbitrations. Hina appears regularly before courts and tribunals including the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. Hina has extensive experience in conducting workplace investigations into allegations of harassment, sexual harassment, bullying, discrimination, toxic work environments, human rights violations, and product liability issues. In addition, Hina assists employers in developing systems to ensure compliance with legal and ethical obligations, and creating effective workplace policies and procedures.
