Hollis Bromley is a Partner in Alexander Holburn's Insurance Practice. Her practice is primarily litigation-based, with an emphasis on insurance defence and insurance coverage. She deals with claims ranging from bodily injury and property damage to employment and human rights defence, including representing clients in class actions and complex commercial and regulatory matters. Hollis acts for insurers in relation to all types of coverages, including CGL, D&O, E&O, Cyber, EPL, All-risks, Wrap-up and Course of Construction policies. She defends claims and provides coverage advice for out-of-province motor vehicle insurers and their insureds. Hollis is an active member of the insurance defence legal community and is a two term past Chair of the Insurance Section of the Canadian Bar Association’s British Columbia Branch and three term President of The ARC Group Canada, a network of independent law firms across Canada that provides insurers and self-insured companies with insurance and risk-related legal services. She is a regular contributor to insurance industry publications and presenter for the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Defence Lawyers.
