Ian is a business litigator focused on complex commercial and appellate disputes. He has extensive experience acting in class action proceedings, including on diverse claims ranging from unpaid overtime to foreign currency exchange issues in Canada and the United States. Ian has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada. He is also a member of the executive of the Class Action Section of the Ontario Bar Association. A former Supreme Court of Canada law clerk, Ian was called to the Ontario Bar in 2008, admitted to practise in New York in 2011, and holds law degrees from the University of Windsor and Harvard Law School.
