Isabelle Jomphe is a partner and head of Lavery’s Intellectual Property Group. Her expertise includes trademarks, industrial designs, copyrights, domain names, trade secrets, technology transfers, as well as advertising law, labelling and Charter for the French language regulations. Isabelle is known for providing strategic and practical advice in all aspects of IP, with an emphasis in the field of trademarks and advertising law. She advises clients with respect to their product launch, branding strategies and advertising campaigns, through trademark clearance searches and filing strategies in Canada and abroad. For years, she has been trusted by multinational corporations to be their IP counsel and guardian of their brands. Apart from being an expert in the protection and management of trademark portfolios, she has been involved in a number of corporate transactions, due diligence, licensing and litigation matters involving IP assets. Isabelle is a member of numerous IP associations including the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and International Trademark Association (INTA) and she has served on various committees throughout her career.
