Jacob Cawker

Jacob Cawker's focuses on securities and corporate law with an emphasis on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and special situations, such as contested shareholder meetings and transactions, as well as conflict transactions. He has acted for both public and private issuers, as well as underwriters, in a variety of public and exempt market offerings, strategic investments, and “going-public” transactions. He has represented both purchasers and targets in both public and private acquisitions. He has also acted for both issuers and activist investors on complex matters relating to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and related-party transactions, as well as numerous contested shareholder meetings and transactions. He regularly advises public companies in a variety of industries with respect to their ongoing continuous disclosure obligations, stock exchange regulatory requirements, and matters of general corporate law.
