David is a partner in BLG's Corporate Commercial Group in Ottawa. He specializes in M&A and corporate finance transactional work and advises a wide range of clients, including private companies, publicly traded companies, entrepreneurs, start-ups, private equity funds, and investors. In addition, David assists clients with corporate formation, reorganizations, corporate governance matters, reviewing and drafting of commercial agreements, and shareholder disputes. He is a member of BLG’s US Steering Committee and regularly advises US and other foreign clients in connection with their Canadian business operations, including formation and structuring, acquisitions, financings, and general commercial and operational matters. Called to the Ontario Bar in 2010 and the Nunavut Bar in 2016.
