James-Scott Lee is a partner in the firm’s Calgary office and a member of the Financial Services Group. He has extensive experience advising financial institutions and corporate clients on a wide range of lending transactions, including syndicated bank transactions, cross-border financings, acquisition financings, and project financing, including for the purpose of Indigenous community equity participation in energy infrastructure, as well as advising on general corporate and commercial matters. He has a particular focus on energy, oil and gas, energy services, renewable energy, real estate and equipment finance. James-Scott is called to the Bars of Alberta and British Columbia and is an active member of the Calgary Bar Association, Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Alberta, and the Law Society of British Columbia. He received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and his JD from the University of Victoria.
