James-Scott Lee is a partner at the Calgary office, serving as a key member of the Financial Services Group. With a wealth of experience in advising on a variety of lending transactions, he specializes in areas including syndicated bank deals, cross-border financings, acquisition financings, and project financing with a niche in Indigenous community equity participation – underscored by his work with major infrastructure projects in collaboration with the Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation. His legal practice is particularly concentrated on the energy sector, including oil and gas, renewable energy as well as real estate and diversified industries. James-Scott is an active member of the legal community, holding Bar admissions in both Alberta and British Columbia, and is involved with the Calgary Bar Association, Canadian Bar Association, and the respective Law Societies of both provinces. James-Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and a JD from the University of Victoria.
