James is a commercial and corporate partner in the McKercher LLP Saskatoon office, focusing in corporate governance and commercial real estate financings, natural resources law, and securities law. He has a broad range of experience including incorporations, organization and governance, small business advice, asset and share purchase acquisitions, securities offerings using exemptions or prospectus, partnership agreements and commercial real estate issues. James is an active member in Lawyers Associated Worldwide (LAW), a global association of independent commercial law firms. He has been recognized by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in Canada 2024 for the areas of Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions Law, Real Estate Law, and Structured Finance Law for Saskatoon. He was called to the Bar in 1994 and appointed KC in 2024.
