Janine MacNeil

In the advertising and marketing sphere, Janine MacNeil advises leading consumer products and services brands as well as advertising and marketing agencies on all aspects of marketing, advertising, and consumer law compliance and regulatory matters. Her work includes legal compliance reviews of advertising campaigns for brand marketers and agencies; packaging and labelling review/compliance; compliance review for new product launches; consumer protection compliance; advising on promotional marketing programs for all media; negotiating and drafting industry-related agreements, including sponsorship and talent agreements; counselling on sweepstakes, games, and contests; and advising on the legal risks associated with privacy, telemarketing, and anti-spam compliance.
