Jason’s practice is dedicated exclusively to acting on behalf of plaintiffs in the areas of personal injury, insurance claims, and medical malpractice. Jason is recognized as a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Ontario. He has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in Canada in the areas of Personal Injury Litigation and Insurance Law. He is selected by his peers as a Leading Practitioner in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory in the areas of Long Term Disablity, Litigation – Commercial Insurance and Personal Injury. Jason was selected by the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) as Outstanding Young Lawyer Award winner, and was recognized with a Distinguished Service Award in 2018. Jason has advocated for clients before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and various administrative tribunals. His courtroom success is highlighted in the leading cases of Kamin v. Kawartha Dairy, Sasso v. Coupland, Pereira v. Hamilton Township Farmers' Mutual Fire Insurance Company, Trajkovich v. Ontario, Brandferri v. Wawanesa, and Haji-Fazul v. Lloyds Underwriters. He has obtained two punitive damages awards for clients against insurance companies.
