Jason Katz’s practice is dedicated exclusively to acting on behalf of plaintiffs in cases relating to personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, long-term disability, property loss, insurance disputes and medical malpractice. He is certified by the LSO as a Specialist in Civil Litigation and is recognized by his peers in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and The Best Lawyers in Canada. He is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and The Advocates’ Society. Jason has established a strong record of achievement in trials, appeals, mediations and arbitrations, including cases such as Becker v. City of Toronto, Kamin v. Kawartha Dairy, Gomez v. Miller, and Sakr v. Sharma. Jason graduated from McGill University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He attended Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business where he completed the joint JD/MBA program in 1998. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2000. Jason is regularly invited to speak on legal panels and lectures to members of the healthcare community. He is involved in various programs to enhance resources and awareness for those with personal injuries.
