Jean-Michel Boudreau’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, class actions, product liability and insurance law. He has argued before all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada. He regularly represents major corporations across various industries, including pharmaceutical, banking, and manufacturing. Before practising as a lawyer, Boudreau served as a law clerk to the Honourable Ian Binnie at the Supreme Court of Canada. He is the author of three chapters pertaining to various privileges in a book on objections, as well as the co-author of a book on class actions, which have been cited multiple times by the Quebec Court of Appeal. In 2017, he was named the civil and commercial Litigator of the Year in Montreal by the Young Bar of Montreal. He is also recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada and Benchmark Litigation for his work in class actions, and corporate and commercial litigation.
