Jeffrey is a partner at Polley Faith, practising corporate/commercial, and civil litigation. He regularly acts for corporations and individuals in complex, high-stakes commercial disputes and internal investigations. He has acted in motions, trials and appeals before all levels of court in Ontario, and before the Supreme Court of Canada. He has particular experience acting as independent supervising solicitor in Anton Piller orders and in drafting legal submissions and opinions in complex and novel areas of law. After finishing his legal education at Dalhousie and Cambridge, Jeffrey served as clerk to the Hon. Justice Eleanor Dawson of the Federal Court of Appeal and then to the Hon. Justice Thomas Cromwell of the Supreme Court of Canada. Jeffrey was called to the Ontario bar in 2012. He teaches in Osgoode Hall Law School’s international LLM program, and has published articles in the fields of private international law and administrative law.
