Jennifer Mathers McHenry is the founding partner of Mathers McHenry & Co., a boutique employment law firm. She is an employment lawyer and litigator. Her advisory practice focuses on providing strategic and legal advice to executives, directors, partners, shareholders and other senior employees at key transition points in their employment or work life. Jennifer also provides strategic and litigation assistance to select businesses and firms. She regularly advises her clients on a wide range of complex employment law issues, including but not limited to employment terminations, written offers of employment, investigations, wrongful and constructive dismissal cases, professional negligence, post-employment restrictions, and circumstances where harassment, bullying and discrimination arise. She also frequently assists senior executives who require strategic advice as they navigate interpersonal or other issues in the workplace. Jennifer’s litigation practice focuses on employment law and related commercial litigation, such as unfair competition, breach of confidence or breach of fiduciary duty claims. In addition to her busy law practice Jennifer frequently works as a neutral, providing services as a workplace investigator and as a mediator and/or arbitrator for employment disputes.
