Jennifer practises in the areas of technology, privacy & cybersecurity law. Jennifer’s technology practice encompasses advising on a wide range of technology-related transactional matters, while Jennifer’s privacy and cybersecurity practice focuses on the digital risk data protection lifecycle, including critical incident response (i.e., breach counsel). Jennifer is the immediate past president and current director of the Canadian Technology Law Association, Past Chair of the Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association and a faculty member to Osgoode Hall Law School professional development certificate programs Drafting & Negotiation IT Agreements and Web3, Blockchain and Metaverse Law. Jennifer has been recognized with the Precedent Setter Award (2022) and listed in Best Lawyers Canada: Ones to Watch (2022, 2023 & 2024) in the areas of Technology Law, Privacy and Data Security, IT Law and IP Law. Jennifer is a frequent speaker and writer to national and international audiences on issues of technology, cybersecurity, privacy and intellectual property law as well as matters pertaining to equality, diversity and inclusion in the legal sector. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017.
