Jodi Martin’s practice focuses on union-side labour law, human rights, and public and administrative law. She regularly acts in matters before administrative tribunals and has appeared before every level of court in Ontario and at the Supreme Court of Canada. Jodi acts for unions and associations in grievance and interest arbitrations, before the HRTO, and before the OLRB. She has a particular interest in appellate advocacy and has assisted union and institutional clients with judicial review applications and appeals. Jodi also co-leads the firm’s workplace investigations team and was co-counsel to the Motherisk Hair Analysis Independent Review. She uses her strong interpersonal skills to bring a practical approach to the law, focusing on efficient and cost-effective solutions for her clients. She is frequently asked to speak at conferences and seminars on issues related to labour law, human rights, and administrative law. She has co-authored "Parliamentary Supremacy and the Rule of Law: Reflections on Justice Rothstein’s Administrative Law Jurisprudence in an Age of Deference" in Judicious Restraint: The Life and Law of Justice Marshall E. Rothstein. Jodi is consistently recognized for her legal expertise in The Best Lawyers in Canada and Benchmark Litigation.
